Teen Patti Rules: Starting the Game TeenPatti Rules: Starting The Game uses a standard 52 card deck, with Aces ranking highest and 2's lowest. The game can be played by 2 or more players but is ideally played with 4 to 7 players. Typically players decide on the dealer by picking the person with the best hand from an initial round of an agreed number of cards. After the first/opening hand, the winner of any hand will be the dealer for the next hand. The relative rankings of the card(s) may also decide the seating arrangement for each player. This entire process is called cut-for-seat.
The Ante and other sums played in the pot provide an incentive to play the hand rather fold when the opening bet reaches them. This makes the playing much more interesting. The cards are usually dealt anti-clockwise. The dealer deals the cards one at a time until everyone has three cards. Each has the option to look at their 3 card hand before betting (playing seen) or to leave their cards face down on the table (playing blind). | ||||||||
